Return, Refund & HVAC Installation Policy

At Saving Energy Canada, customer satisfaction and long-term system reliability are important to us. We are committed to providing transparent service, professional installation, and responsive customer support across Ontario.

Return Eligibility

Eligible products may be returned within 10 days of purchase if:

  • The item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the product description
  • The return request is submitted within 10 days of delivery
  • The product is unused, uninstalled, and returned in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and components included

To protect product quality and safety, installed or used HVAC equipment may not qualify for standard product returns unless confirmed defective upon inspection.

HVAC Equipment & Installation Policy

HVAC systems and equipment that have been professionally installed are considered final installation-based purchases and cannot be returned as standard product returns.

However, Saving Energy Canada stands behind every installation with warranty coverage and ongoing support:

  • Parts Warranty — Up to 10 Years (manufacturer dependent)
  • Labour Warranty — 1 Year on installations
  • Extended Coverage — Optional plans available up to 15 Years Parts & Labour

Free Return Shipping

Saving Energy Canada provides free return shipping for approved returns involving:

  • Damaged products
  • Defective products
  • Incorrect items received

For approved eligible returns, our team will arrange pickup or provide prepaid return shipping instructions at no additional cost.

Refunds & Replacements

Once the returned product has been received and inspected, we will notify you regarding approval.

Depending on product availability and customer preference, we may offer:

Replacement Product

A replacement item shipped at no additional cost for approved damaged or defective products.

Refund

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within approximately 5–7 business days after inspection and approval.

Order Cancellations

Orders cancelled before installation or shipment may qualify for a full refund if cancellation is requested within 24 hours of placing the order.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items may not qualify for return unless defective or damaged upon arrival:

  • Installed HVAC systems
  • Used or modified equipment
  • Special-order products
  • Clearance or final-sale items
  • Products damaged due to improper installation, misuse, or unauthorized modifications
